My projects will include a sewing organizer thingie for my best friend and a pin cushion for her as well. Will see where I'm at after that, I have many other things I could tackle if I set aside "retreat" time with determination and a bit of planning around the rest of the family's schedule.

I will, but I'm going to adjust the days. I guess that sort of misses the point, doesn't it? I have my extra long shifts at work on Saturday and Sunday, so I really don't get to play much on those days. but I'm off tomorrow, and will probably spend a fair amount of time crocheting - I think. We having cold, rainy weather and my arthritis is being really grinchy about it, but it may be better by tomorrow. So my committed time will really be tomorrow and then what dabs I can get done on the regular days.

I'm almost finished with a lapghan. I have three rows to go - and ran out of one of the colors. I'll pick up some more finish those, and weave in the ends I haven't done yet, about half the length of it.

When I ran out of yarn, I started the next one before I came in to work today, and I'll keep chugging away on that one too.

I am retreating to Branson with friends. We will view the holiday lights, enjoy a large expensive prime rib dinner, and take a lake cruise on Saturday.

Great idea!! I'm already participating in a Stampin' Up workshop on Sunday. This weekend I also nbeed to make some gift bags and gift packages- and then some goodies to put in them. As the weekend finally makes an appearance, I'll have a better idea as to what I'll be creating!!

    Hmmmm...

I'm game, but I probably will have to do some housework/home improvement stuff this weekend too. But I don't have any jury duty this week so could sneak some stuff in. I'm sort of between craft projects now so this is good timing. I'm in!

Ohh so great, glad to see we'll be company for each other as we work on our hobbies (or master's papers ). I have the day off tomorrow so I have to get a handle on what supplies I actually need on hand. Can't wait to see what everyone is working on, hopefully some of us will get pics posted??

MM, would love to see your stamping projects! That is one of the crafts I just never picked up.

I'll set a goal to take pictures after I get done with anything or on Sunday night, whichever comes first.

~Not out of line at all. Thanks for getting this up and ready!
This weekend I want to sew:
-5 hair scrunchies for a gift
-old towels into hand-towels and bathmats
    -fix a pocket
    -patch pj pants
-repair the couch, again(can't wait to leave this thing behind when we move!)
    -diaper cover for my girl
    -4 diaper covers for nephew
I have a date with DH on Friday night, and a workshop and party on Saturday so it's going to be tough squeezing the sewing in. Sunday may be my only retreat day but I plan to make the most of it. ~

It will be an in and out for me. A large group of friends and I are going out partyin' on Saturday night. But I have Friday ! And Saturday day. And Sunday afternoon!

I have two scarves that have been commissioned--one I have started on, one I am waiting to get yarn. I have at least 2 Christmas presents to do (earwarmer, milo vest, socks) and would like to make two more (scarf, hat). I also have been asked to knit two Santa hats for friends' Buddha statues.

    Default count me in

Oh yes, I will definitely be working on my Christmas crafts.
    - 2 prs. slippers
    - 1 doormat
    - finishing touches on the bath puffs
    - some Christmas baking for the gift-boxes

This will be my last chance to finish, because the parcels have to be sent out next week. I'm not sure I can finish everything, so may have to send IOU's along.

Oh, this sounds wonderful! On Friday, I will need to finish up a scrapbook that I am making for my SIL for Christmas, then finish a scarf and start (maybe finish) another scarf. On Saturday I will be cooking, cleaning and preparing for our Christmas Party that night. But, on Sunday, would like to start sewing some American Girl Doll outfits for DD. I too will post pics on Monday when I am finished. Thanks for posting this idea!!!
