Ok - here are my selfish For Me coasters. Bunches of them. I shouldn't have to do this again for a long time, and it used up a little of the cotton.

Those are really cute!! I can't crochet, or I'd ask for the pattern! (Of course, if I could crochet, I'd probably be able to figure OUT the pattern!)
My selfish, for me, scarf is drying after being felted. I need to add the fringe after it dries, and then I'll take a pic.DH aka Mad Hen

Very pretty banner, labon!! Great job..........but THAT wasn't something personal FOR YOU.......what have you made for you??
Always thinking of others...........
dcomp.........like the coasters. Yep........that should hold you for awhile.........do you really 'go through' that many? What do you do to them??
Haven't made ANY progress on the robe, quilt, or other (not sure the 'other' will be for me).......and now I have picked up some mags. that have a couple quilts I want to get right on....(and that means FONDLING FABRIC which I love to do!!).......BUT.........snow coming in this week so that will settle me down!!

Well, FF, they should last a really long time. But I keep a couple at all my sittin' spots. They get stained sometimes - soda overflows, tea pot drips - sometimes it washes out, sometimes not. The yucky cause of death is that it can be so humid around here that everything cold produces lots of condensation and with only a few they can mildew in the summer before they totally dry. I used to wash them, but they take so little time and use such little bits of yarn, I've just decided they are not intended to last forever and I toss them when they exceed my grunge tolerance.

Thanks for the cartoon, McD. I've seen that on Rav, I think. Or somewhere. Yeah, that's sorta how things happen to me sometimes! LOL

Oh, but FF, it IS for me. Mostly my mental state. You see I should have had them done by the first part of LAST year. They have been weighing heavy on my mind. I am so embarassed in not having them done. But guess what, I have the second one done and will deliver it to the church tomorrow. Yay me!
Now on to me, personally. I have bought a little supply of embroidery floss, already have the aida cloth in my craft closet. I am going to do some Red work or little quotes that can be put in a frame to sit in my kitchen. I start that tonight after I pick out a design.

Great job on the banners
Wow you should have coasters for a long, long time.
Finished my wrap in time for vacation; no thanks to my sewing machine. The tension will not stay set. Just kept at it and finally it worked. I do not know how to post pics. Is there a simple way to do it? I have tried before without success.

Only about a week left in January!! How are we doing on our "just for me" projects? I need to finish the fringe on the scarf I knitted, and then I'll be done with that. So at least I managed ONE just-for-me item!
