Worked on the quilt this afternoon. All squares have the batting sewn in. I then spent some time lying out the squares finding a pleasing arrangement. Spent tonight on the calorimetry. Almost finished. Two rows left then the BO. Some progress made anyway!

Okay, here's my end of retreat update:

I finished a scarf for a friend that required a LOT of seaming. Which I hate. And I suck at.

I finished knitting, seaming, and blocking Moo's stripey sweater.

And I worked on Zac's missoni blanket.

I didn't do very well on this retreat. I started on Saturday and found some fabric in the form of old thrift shop clothes that were in my fabric bin. I washed everything and started tearing the clothes apart before ironing the pieces. That was for one project, and I think I have everything I need except perhaps for lining material. The other project requires a trip to the fabric store. But, I'm sort of getting into the swing of sewing again, so I'll just keep on working on them, and maybe I'll have something to show during the next retreat!

Oh, I forgot, I did shorten and hem a set of curtains - that involved sewing, so I guess I got something done this weekend.

Incognito - want to come for a visit so you can teach/help me be as focused at organizing as you are? Please?

DC - If the batting is already sewn in the squares - how are you putting it altogether?

My weekend is continuing since I started late....tbc.........

MM - it is a rag quilt so the squares are sewn with the batting in with an x, then the squares are sewn together row by row, then washed and dried to set the 'ragging'. Hope you can understand that.

McD - oooh, I love Moo's sweater! Love the colors...so girly girlish.

    Smile a slight echo...

Before work today, I finished sorting my 3 huge bags of yarns; kept out the yarn I want for immediate projects, then put it in many separate, clear plastic bags for easier viewing.
From now on, I'm storing all my bagged supplies in see-through plastic bags. It's easy to tell what's in there, at a glance.

People, my spare room seems to have a slight echo...

    PS: Sure, Maui!
But it would be simpler if I just keep posting my long, long lists for all to see...again and again...
