    Default All Hobbies Retreat 7/13 - 7/15

    Hello ALL!!! Does anyone want to have a virtual hobby retreat with me this weekend? I have my house spotless and laundry caught up just so I could sew and craft all this weekend. For starters I will be making DD a wristless clutch and me a hobo bag. Then I am hoping to move onto transforming a mans dress shirt into a dress for DD and maybe if I have time, one for me.

    I will post pics later this afternoon when I get home from work.

    Anyone in?????

    and furbabies Morrison passed away 12/9/07...will be missed greatly and Casey our German Shepherd mixed mutt from the local animal shelter

    I'm in. The house will not be spotless and I will have to cook, but I have a lot of sewing to do this weekend. Taking a break from quilting a small quilt right now. I have 3 or 4 dresses for my dance group to work on, too. And maybe, just maybe, I can get the backing pinned on one of my older, queen sized tops so it can go to the longarm shop.

    I will be watching for pics.

    We are supposed to have a 'heat break' this weekend and I have outside work that HAS to be done.....plants cut back, and etc. as roofers and 'gutter guys' will be here soon...........

    ~I would love to! I got all my errands done yesterday and DH is home this Saturday morning for a change. I plan to exercise first and then I'm diving in to finish a summer outfit I'm making for the little one. If I have time after that I may even start some pull up diapers for her.

    The quilt was for me, it was part of a class I signed up for last year to get myself out of the house and meet new people.

    Well, as some of you know, my retreat weekend went to crap...I ended up cleaning house and packing for a unexpected trip to Florida....oh, maybe I will try this weekend.
