Talking I did it my very own self!!!!

Last week sometime I posted needing some ideas on how to hand sew to put a liner in a basket.
Well later I was aiming with our own Darlin' Heaven and I commented that no one had replied. She asked me what I wanted to do and I told her.
She told me I didnt have to sew, I could hot glue one, and then gave me instructions on how to do it!
Well I asked ds and dh to cut the card board bottom for me, they are steadier with precise things than I am.
Well with the layoffs, dh has been saddled with lots of ot and ds never seemed to get round to it!
So this morning, amongst freezing cookie dough, making bread dough and pancakes, I did it.
I cut the cardboard, the material and hot glued it where I wanted it.
The corners look a bit odd but I will do better next time.
It was fun, it was new and I did it my very own self with no help from anyone!
heehee its the little things that tickle me!
Thank you for the idea Heaven!

Some people live by the mantra. "If I can't glue it, then I don't do it." I love hot glue!!! Good job Melissa!

That is great Melissa. I bet it is charming. I love baskets with cloth liners, I have seen some of those really expensive ones (I can't think of the name, see they are too expensive for me to even say, lol) that are so pretty with a cloth liner. What a smart idea Heaven had for hot gluing it, I would have never thought of that.
