Please Look at my new cards (and Melissa)
I have made TONS of new cards now, which is really good because for a while I had a creativity block!
Don't worry I won't bore you with them all LOL.
Here's 3 that I really like though.
Plus my new idea of actually sewing them for real
(I'm not sure if you can see that in the photos?)
Which gave me another idea of actually making them out of material
Although I haven't tried that yet?
Melissa ~ Can you, or do you use sewing for scrapbooking (that was my question - obviously lol)
Anyway enough talking here they are.
Firstly the sewn ones (hope you can see what I've done)

Sewing has recently become incredibly popular in scrpabooking. it adds texture with out bulk, and intrest to the pages as well. I have seen it in cards and tags as well. I will look for some links about this to show everyone. Fabrics are one of my favorite things to add to scrapbooking pages, because of the textural options of fabric. However one thing i should suggest for this is to mount your fabric on paper then add to the pages. if you plan on using the fabric under photos, mount the photos on papers first. Why? Because some of the inks and dyes used in fabric design and so on may not be archival quality. Using acid and lignen free papers to mount between the pages and photos will provide a "barrier" to keep your pages and photos away from potential hazards from bleeding dyes and so on.
Love your cards Bev. Of these three, I can't come up with a favorite. You do such great work!! Wish we could scrap and make cards together, lol! the commute is a bit far though, isn't it? LOL

Oh Great pages! ~ Thanks Melissa
I saved them all to favourites LOL - except the button one as I already did that on card # 2. My favourites list has never been so stressed since I've been in the village LOL.
Lots of info anyway, I really appreciate that - Thanks again.
I would LOVE to scrap with you! It is a bit far though isn't it? Never mind I'll just have to come for the month instead of a few hours
LOL.
