Wink GW learned a valueable lesson today.....

*NEVER* I repeat *NEVER* send me into Jo-Ann's with the checkbook & say "get whatever you want, the tax refund came in today..."

What fun that was!! I bought yarn (10 skeins), an afghan book, a "Crochenit" needle & book, some sewing notions (a wrist pin holder, a new tomato, a needle keeper, safety pins, seam ripper, thread trimmer, 120" tape, etc), 16 spools of serger thread, 22 (yes 22!) Fat Quarters, quilting thread, regular thread, needles, 16 packs of elastic, a glue gun & glue sticks, one of those moochie magnetic needle holders (I need it more for when I drop all of my needles in the floor!), and my favorite - the sewing box!! I sold my old one (& everything in it) when we moved from VA to TX (we were only allowed to move 5,000 pounds) and I love this one! It's huge!!

NOW! Maybe I can actually finish something! Couldn't finish the floor pillows because I was out of serger thread, couldn't finish the girlies jammie bottoms because I had no elastic, couldn't do the quilt I wanted because I was out of "suitable" fabric.....

I'm excited! If you don't see me for a while, you'll know where I am!!!!

Ahhhhh Tax returns are so much fun! I am glad you got some things you were needing. Now do you already hear the Fat Quarters you left at the store calling your name?
