Default What craft would you like to learn ?

I would love to learn so many new things......
Quilting, although that seems impossible for me since I can't sew a straight line.....
Cake decorating.... I keep saying I will take a Wilton class and never seem to get around to it.......
What would you like to learn ????????

Cake decorating appeals to me too. I used to decorate wedding cakes with flowers, but have never really tried frosting.

Michaels here has wilton classes going now. They really look fun.

I would definitely love to try quilting someday. I don't know how to sew at all and am not sure it's really for me, but it's on my list to try sometime.

I'd love to learn to knit.

There's just so many crafts I would love to try. I've always wanted to cross stitch too.

I could go on and on...spinning, weaving, sewing, soapmaking, candlemaking, wood crafts. lol

One thing at a time for me.

Quilting. I've spent a lot of time around it. I'm confident it's something I could do. I just haven't gotten around to trying it yet. That crochenit really interests me too, especially if it's faster than crochet.

I'm currently working on my first quilt. I have it all put together, but I just need to quilt it. It sure has been a learning experience. But that's what I wanted to learn to do, so I am doing it.

I would love to learn the art of Trompe L'Oeil painting. I love the effects that the artist do with painting windows and beautiful scenery on interior walls. I also like the Trompe L'Oeil furniture I have seen where they have painted items onto them, like place settings on a table or jewelry on a dresser or clothing hanging out of a drawer.

I would also like to learn Tole painting. I love the look of it and the whimiscal charm that it has.

I'd love to learn to paint.....all kinds of painting. Oil painting, watercolors, trompe l'oeil, ceramic.....I'd just love to learn it all. I'd also love to do some mosaics.
