Question Stamping?

Where do I get started with this? Does anyone have any good sites or tips?

I've gotten some great ideas at the store AC Moore and Eileen's craft show on HGTV. I use them mostly for invitations, envelopes etc.

I have seen some really pretty embossed velvet projects with rubber stamps and velvet. I have seen pillows and journals done that were so pretty.

Would make a nice inexpensive homemade gift.
