    Default Tile Notepad Holder

    4 x 4 White tile
    6 x 6 Wood block
    Black permanent magic marker
Some rub on decals or your own handiwork
    Dry-eraser marker
    Acrylic paint
    2 part epoxy glue
    Small strip of Velcro
    Picture frame teeth hanger

    Ready:

You can either cut out your 6 x 6 wood square or you can buy them already cut out (cost about $1.50).

Now for the wood square. You can rotor cut a grove at the bottom of the wood so the tile slides in or you can just glue the tile at the bottom with epoxy glue, which is what I did.

First, sand your wood and wipe off any dust. Paint the wood the color of your choice. I did one coat so I could see a little bit of the grain in the wood.

After it is dry, use the rub on decals for the design or, of course, it could be even better with a hand painted design or even a stencil.

Now seal the wood block with a sealer - you can use a satin sealer.

With the permanent marker, write at the top of the tile, "Notes" or "Grocery List."

Using the epoxy glue, glue the tile to the center of the wood block. Don't be afraid of the glue, it is easier then you think it is to use this glue, and it creates a permanent bond.

Attach the sticky side of a strip of Velcro onto the wood and attach the matching piece of Velcro to the dry eraser. Now attach marker to the wood.

Finally, attach the picture frame teeth hanger on the back of your tile notepad to hang where you like. Enjoy !

Cute! I knew I should have got that box of tiles at that yard sale! I'd bet they still have them somewhere!
