Default what kind of paint to use...

on canvas? I was thinking of painting or stenciling on the pockets of one of these storage racks for the kids and use the pockets for toys.

I've never been into paints, so really don't know what paints are used for what. I know I could always use fabric paints, but what other types of paints would work?

I don't know why you couldn't use that 44¢ Acrylic paint from WalMart. There is a "fabric medium" or something you use to thin it some first. I've used it on T-shirts, but it's been a while. It should say on the bottle. Hmmm, I can't find anything on any of my bottles. They just say, "any porous surface". I'm 99% postitive about the fabric medium though.
