Question Help With Decorating Dresser

I am planning to paint and fix up a dresser my husband picked up at a yard sale. I want to use it in my guest/craft room. I plan to paint it a really pale yellow. I found some wonderful stickers that are of large Victorian angels. I want to put one sticker on each drawer. What would be the best way to apply the stickers? Should I stick them on and then use like Modpodge on them or something like a clear sealer? I don't want them to peel off and leave yucky areas on the drawers. Any ideas would be great! TIA

Paint, put on stickers, then cover the whole thing with a clear polyuerethane(sp?) Then the whole thing has a hard protective coat.

Good Luck!

I recently did dss's dresser-I painted, then put cotton fabric down with modge podge, then another coat of modge podge, then sprayed whole thing with clear acrylic and it is holding up well.
