    Default I'm feeling crafty!!

I think everyone here is rubbing off on me. Yesterday, I went to the craft store, and I bought some yarn, I want to make an afghan and a scarf--I bought 3 different skeins, a mauve and light blue for the afghan and a black/white one for the scarf. Now, all I need to do is learn how to crochet and I'll be on my way! I also bought supplies to make the Christmas ornaments for the swap, and I'm taking a quilting class. And, I dug out my beads that I have and I'm going to start making jewelry again. Can't wait to get started!!!

    That's great Gina!

Just holler if you need help. BTW what size skiens of yarn did you buy? I'm only aking because you need approx. 40-60 ounces of yarn to make an afghan. Depends on what stitch you use and what size you want to make it.

Dee---I bought the Red Heart Super Saver 8oz. skien to start, I bought 2 so far, 1 in each color. There's no dye lot on the colors, so my friend said that I can get more as I need it. And, I have no idea what stitch I'll be using---probably the easiest one to start!!

Sara--I get the firemoutain gems catalog too---love it!! I make necklaces and bracelets. I'd like to make some earrings too, have to learn how to do that though!
