    Cool fabric store ?

I'm looking for juvenile prints to use in the lower grades classroom for my daughter. Do any of you know chain fabric stores that carry classroom prints, novelty and juvenile prints?

I especially want to find some cute prints for science like frogs, catepillars, and bugs. And some math background prints of addition and subtraction, numbers, and rulers.

    Thanks for any suggestions.

Do you have a Joann fabric store near you? Or Hancock's?

Both have online stores as well.

Walmart carries some nice dolphin, whale, frog prints that I have used in crafts-they also get cars, trucks and train prints in occasionally. Rag shop carries some also, but walmart seems to have more of those novelty type fabrics.

I love Hancock's. I got a lot of great material there, for my classroom, in the past. They've always got many different and interesting prints. Good luck on your search.

I think you'll do good at Wal*Mart. Just plan time to stop and browse the fabrics everytime you go. You never know what you'll find and they are always getting new stuff!

Thanks for the suggestions. I tried JoAnn's, Hancocks, and Walmart. Walmart won for the most interesting and most volume for what I was hunting.

I've made a dozen pocket holders for the classroom of all different kinds of prints. They really are cute. If any of you are hunting teacher gifts for classroom or Sunday school rooms, these would make a great gift and use about 1 1/3 yards of fabric and big grommets. Cost estimate is around $6 to $7.
