Default White Christmas

Let it snow! Let it snow! Let it snow!  Delta's Snow complements a trio of foam trees to create a bright, contemporary, sleek look for holiday celebrations this year.  And, best of all, this creative trio can be crafted in one-hour our less!

From left to right, Delta's Freshly Fallen Snow™ adds the look of a white blanket of snow. Just like icing a cake, this tree takes on texture with strokes from a palette knife. In center stage, a bold statement in thick white snow, Delta's Fantasy Snow™ adds tiny snowballs with icy glitter texture. And, last but not least, Delta Sparkle Snow™ adds a smooth, sparkly gleam.  All of the trees have been trimmed with crystal garlands and white painted dowels are held in place in glass vases with iridescent flat back marbles.

MATERIALS
3 - 6 Containers for each tree of:
     Delta Freshly Fallen Snow™
     Delta Fantasy Snow™
     Delta Sparkle Snow™
Delta Ceramcoat® Acrylic Paint - White 2505
Delta Ceramcoat Pearls™ - Pearl Finish 2601
Sobo Glue
® 80 001 0202

Other Supplies
1/2" dowel for tree trunks
1/2" flat bristle brush
Small saw or heavy duty cutters
Foam Cones (15" large, 9" small)

Palette knife or craft stick
Heavy clear vases
Iridescent flat back marbles
Straight pins
Crystal garlands
Scissors (to cut wire or thread garlands to desired lengths

Directions: Note for best results, please take a moment to review all product package instructions before beginning your project.

1. Cut dowels to desired length (allowing for at least 3" extra to press into foam cone).
2. Paint dowels with White. Set aside to dry. (If desired, use hair dryer to speed up the drying process.) Paint dowels with Pearl. Set aside to dry. (If desired, use hair dryer to speed up the drying process.)
3. Dip end of dowel into glue and insert into bottom of foam cone.
4. Holding tree by dowel, use palette knife to apply Snow to cone, spreading into desired thickness and texture.
5. To let Snow dry, carefully place dowel into glass vase, holding to center in middle.  Place marbles in vase around dowel, holding it centered in middle until vase is filled with marbles. Let Snow dry.
6. Remove tree from vase and pin garland to bottom edge of tree, cutting to fit to desired length.
7. Repeat step 5 to re-insert trees into vases.
