Default Wax dipping?? Have you tried it??

I got a big block of wax and some oil scents to wax dip some rag balls and I was debating whether or not to dip some stuffed animal Cats. Have you tried it - it seems to be the rage on ebay and in the craft mags but I haven't actually seen one done - what do you think - would they sell?? The kitties are 8" tall and solid white and I have been putting little accessories and wings on them.

    that sounds really familiar.
Were the ribbons and wings dipped too? I was using real feathers from my ducks for my wings - I bet they wouldn't dip well...

They looked like real feathers to me. The ribbons were tied on afterwards.

I haven't done them, but posted some instructions for some awhile back. I was thinking I could just inject fragrance oil into a bear and save myself the wax. I do think they are a neat idea though.
