Are there specific crafts you'd like to learn in 2005?
Number one on my list is learning to make soap. I finally have all the supplies I need. I'm waiting for January when dh is home and he can watch the kids while I tackle making soap.
One other craft I would really like to learn is how to make wreaths with items from nature.
How about you?

This sounds wierd I know but I went to a craft show and the was welded art there. I feel in love with it. That is on my learn to do list. Welding.

Great question. I haven't thought of any new ones yet, but I've been thinking that my new year's resolution will be to find a few minutes each and every week to work on my scrapbooks. I'd like to finish the ones I have started and get two new ones done. So, maybe I'll learn some new scrapbooking techniques.

I'd like to learn to paint. CJ Our local Condervation center did classes on making wreaths from nature and a friend and I went. It was a lot of fun and the wreaths came out so pretty.

I want to learn to knit, crochet and tat. I get very frustrated trying to follow the directions in the pictures and my hands are pretty shaky - but I would love to finally learn after all of these years of wanting too. I would also like to learn fresh flower arranging and bouquets - I would love to work as a florist. I would also like to learn to carve stone and cut wooden patterns with a bandsaw. And I definately want to give stained glass another whirl this year - perhaps I will grasp it this time and be able to do something a little more complex then just a sill little suncatcher.
