Default Outdoor Project Question

Okay, we moved into this house in October, and we have been finding the most beautiful flowers blooming since early spring. There is a nice "garden" type thingy in the front of the house, but we think it would look nicer if surrounded by rocks, you know, pretty large, garden rocks. However, they go for about $700 for a few hundred pounds around here. Any thoughts on where to get them more cheaply? (Please don't say from the woods...we've looked there are there are no rocks to be found in our area.)

I also could not afford the big rocks so over the past few weeks I have gotton bags of small river pebble from home depot and did a large area around my porch, then added a few large rocks for interst where I didn't have plants in. It is such a clean look.
