Just Venting....

"Red Heart" yarn company has discontinued their TLC line of yarn. So if you like this yarn you need to go get some now before it's gone or if you have any UFO'S needing some matching skiens you better get it fast.

This yarn is so soft and works up great and everyone I have given an afghan to loves how soft and shiny it is. They said they can't get the yarn to make it anymore.

Now I have to wait until their new line of soft yarn comes out and see what that is like but heard it is not as nice.

I bought enough yarn on Tuesday to make 2 more afghans. I got it for $2.37 a skien with my class discount so knocked almost $10.00 off the cost of the afghans but still.

Has anyone else lost their favorite yarn?

i haven't lost a fav yarn, and i'm sorry you are, i'm just having a hard time finding decent colors that don't cost and arm and a leg for a tiny little bitty skein.

Thanks for the heads up Carolyn. I was in Walmart the other day & couldn't believe the price of yarn. Wow!

I know what you mean Carolyn, Red Heart is my all time favorite yarn. It lasts and lasts through tons of washings and always comes out nice, not stretched out and nasty.

On the price of yarn, boy do I agree. I was almost going to donate a lot of my stash to the senior center. But I may be keeping it now as I know me, I'll be a crocheting fool come cold weather.
