Joann's Fabrics had fleece on sale, so I bought two yards of two different prints to make no-sew blankets. (I already have solids in my fabric stash.) I also bought 2 pillow forms (at 50% off) to try the fleece pillows.
I was looking at the newer fleece projects, and picked up a scarf that is imprinted with a design that you cut out. (Instead of fringing the ends, you cut them out in shapes of daisies, butterflys or hearts.) They looked very cute on the package, but I was so disappointed in how the daisy scarf turned out. It might be nice for a child, but it just isn't long enough for a teen or adult. There also seemed to be a lot of scrap for such a small project. Definitely not worth $6.99. I was wishing I had used my 50% off coupon for that item, instead of the Gooseberry Patch book that I just had to have!
