A couple of years ago I was working in Minneapolis, MN and picked up a copy of the lastest Learning Annex catalog. The Learning Annex hosts short classes and seminars inexpensively. They have a website worth looking at as many of their classes are now held online for a nominal fee. Well anyhow, at the time they were offering a one day class on how to sell your crafts or other goods at a state fair. They claimed many people would sell at a state fair for a week and the money they made for this week supported them for the rest of the year. This sounded unbelievable but I did want to look into it more. Well my assignment in Minneapolis ended before the seminar took place so I was unable to attend and the Learning Annex no longer offers this seminar not even online.

Has anyone ever sold at a state fair and are these claims true? If so, would you care to share any expertise you might have.
