    [ame="http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/customer-images/B00067TAI0/ref=cm_ciu_pdp_images_2/103-0916479-7222201?%5Fencoding=UTF8&s=baby&index=2#gallery"]404 - Document Not Found[/ame]

    This is how I'm doing Jacob's nursery....I know - I'm 4 months behind!! I can't find this type of stencil. Do you know where I can find it? My local Wal-mart didn't have it so I need to find something online. Thank you!

    I did this type of thing, but I made it myself out of paper & glued it on the wall.  I posted some pics of it.

    LMK if you decide to do this & need some help.    As you can see, I've done it a couple of times.  LOL!

    I found fonts that I liked online & downloaded them. Used WORD to print them the size I wanted. I used black and touched them up with a sharpie marker. Cut them out with an exacto knife on a cutting board while I watched TV one night. Then in pencil, draw a center line. Use elmers glue or Tacky Glue with a small paintbrush on the back of the letters. Use a tweezers to place it on the wall. After the glue was dried, I erased the pencil. I did have to do a couple touch-ups with paint on the actual wall.
    I've also changed them after a year or so. They came right off with a scraper or spatula & then washed the glue remnants with a rag & soapy water.
    It took a little time, but I like the results.

    I was in the same boat...I knew I wanted words in my kitchen, but couldn't find a decent stencil. I like this better.

    Besides, stenciling would take a long time too.

    I wanted to add that Tacky glue *mixed* with elmers worked the best. But I did use plain ol' elmers in the kitchen.

    I did this once in the bathroom with a pattern...not words, but the humidity ruined it. Next time, If I do it, I'll varnish over it or something.

    I did this another way.....

    I found the verse and font I wanted and then did it in WORD and printed it onto transparancy paper (found at office supply for about .50). Then I borrowed the overhead projector from our church and projected it onto the wall. Traced it onto the wall in pencil and filled in with craft paint. Practically zero cost!
    If I could figure out how to post a photo...I would.

    That's a good idea, too, Cathy. I couldn't get ahold of a projector. But that is an option. I used craft paint for the bees in Miss K's room & it works well.....I think you can get bottles at the craft store for $.50

    The story behind this is....we live on Goshen Way. We found the house accidently, and fell in love with it immediately. When we bought the house, there was me and dh, youngest dd, 2 cats and two dogs, plus oldest dd and her family live just minutes away....
    This is in my entry way, the wall below the staircase.
