Question Time spent on hobbies (being creative) per day?

I do at least 30 minutes of quilting per day. Now that I'm adding scrapbooking, I'll add another 15 minutes just for scrapbooking.

There is a need in me to be creative and when I don't take that 30 minutes each day to do so, I find I'm not a happy camper. It seems like everything then becomes rushed, I'm a bit more antsy and I find myself not getting anything done. It's just who I am.

How much time do you spend on your hobby (being creative) per day.

My paying job is in a creative field, but I find that it doesn't count as a creative hobby. It just becomes "old hat" a lot of the times. I spend about an hour working on other creative things such as quilting, etc.

I spend at least 30 minutes a day crocheting. I have numerous WIP and switch out which one I work on. Sometimes I will work several rows or rounds on all of them.

I've been slack since I started back to work and then had the Christmas and after Christmas rush. I need to get back in the habit. I bought a storage box that I am going to use for just my scrapbook stuff so they will all be together and I have a little case for some little cross stitches I've got in the past....half are started maybe one day I'll finish.

I plan on starting to take time on the weekends to work on Paige's scrapbook pages. Once I get all the holiday pictures back I will take an hour or so of alone time to finish up the scrapbook of her first year of life....hard to belive next month she'll be one

Scrapbooking I only do about once a month That's because it takes so much time to pull all my stuff out and get started. A friend and I do it together a lot of the time so that's enough for me.

Writing I do every day in some fashion, even if it's just 10 minutes.

Piano I try to do 15 minutes a day (preferably 30 but that doesn't happen often).

Projects with Isabel fill up the most of my "leisure" time.

I've never been one to place a time frame on my hobbies. When I worked I just always fit them in when I could. Now that I'm not working I pretty much do it when I can. If I want to spend all day sewing and I dont have any other commitments then I'll do it and not worry about laundry or house cleaning. Dh doesn't mind as long as there is a path and dinner on the table, lol.

I haven't taken much time to craft and make cards lately. I got burned out making 50 sets of different cards to sell at a friend's craft booth. I didn't even make anything for Christmas gifts last year. That is very unusual for me. I'm a person that needs to be creative daily, too.

I have been doing alot more cooking lately and being creative with what's left in the pantry. I think right now that is my hobby, sort of.

This is me too. Hubby knows when I get involved in something crafty, don't even bother to talk to me as I'm most likely not even listening. LOL

I have been known to go into my sewing room for 15 hours of more and only come out for the potty or a drink. ROFL

i do what i can when i can. if i have a deadline, ie a babyshower, i'll make sure i work on it at least an hour a night the week before teh shower, other wise, i crochet as time permits.
i'd love to set aside time every night, but it just doesn't work out that way right now.

I don't craft every day, but it probably averages out to be about 7 hrs per week. Sometimes more, sometimes less--depends on what I'm working on. I am knitting a scarf for my Mom (at least I think it will be for her, but since it's my first project, I am feeling a little self-conscious) for her bday, so I'm under the gun at this point and am spending more time than usual w/my hobbies. I've spent about 6 hrs so far this week.
