    Default craft question ladies?

I want to make a half circle fake stained glass over the main door on the inside. Plexi glass is too exspensive and I want a material that isnt too thick or exspensive to buy. Would u have any ideas what i could use thats also light weight? Dont wanna poke nail holes in wall if possible. Appeciate any ideas. hers apic of what I mean. I don't want real glass, too heavy, I'm only renting, i want frugal way.

    Charlene,

A friend bought a large sheet of clear plastic from Home Depot (her fav. place in the world) The guy told her what tool to buy for cutting the plastic.

is there glass above the door that you want to cover up or is this going to be a wall hanging? if it's glass that you want to cover for privacy, you might try the gallery glass stuff that comes in tubes. you squirt it out and it dries. it can be peeled off so it's not permanat. michaels and walmart carry it. you could wait for a coupon for micheals.

Have you thought about the stained glass paint? I have used it on ornaments and I think it can be removed. It is pretty inexpensive and easy to work with. I found it at Hobby Lobby but I think I have seen it at W*M since.

Vannie, yeah I heard that they do have plastic there, Its 2 hrs away from us wher we live, I wish it was closer, thanks anyway.
Pita- Its for a wall hanging, its so plain when we come into the house or leaving.
Marcia-I love gallery glass as long as I could get it on sale, and keep it simple i should be fine.
