I have been told you can use the fruit fresh from the canning section at the grocery store for this. It's citric acid. I made bath bombs once, but didn't like they way they came out. Haven't had a chance to try it again since them. I think I am more inclined to make bath salts at this point, but will eventually make the bath bombs again.
Haven't made these before, but have made bath salts with essential oils , borax & epsom salts. If I can find that recipe I will post it.
Thanks for sharing your instructions, since I have all the ingredients I'm going to give it a try. I'll just have to find a bargain mold!
Well I just got done with my bath and all I can say is that if you have dry skin this will cure it...LOL..It does make your skin soft but not much of a scent..I think next time I make it I will add a little more essential oil and 1tbsp less of sweet almond oil..

You are absolutely right & thanks for pointing out my error! I was confusing Ascorbic acid (vitamin c) with citric acid. I did a little research to see what exactly is the difference & found some interesting stuff about citric acid. It is used as a food additive, for flavoring (tartness) & preservative, also used in dietary supplements. It can be used in recipes in place of fresh lemon juice & because of it's effevescent qualities it is what fizzes just like you said Tinkerbell!
Citric acid is also an enviromentally friendly cleaning agent.
