I have crocheted for a long time but have wanted to learn to knit. I finally learned and finished my first project. Here are some shorts I made for my ds.

I hope to make some Christmas presents.

That's your first knitting project? You did a wonderful job! The stitches are even and it looks well proportioned. Looks like you have been knitting for a long time. Good job!

Wow! I am impressed that this is your first project. Maybe it is time for me to start my first project. My hobby is quilting but I need a carry with me project to do while waiting in cars.

Thanks you all!! I have tinkered with it...practicing stitches but never completed anything. I think I am going to start working on some Christmas presents...a clapotis for my sil and some socks for my sis.
