I love this craft. I know we have missed the July 4th holiday but I thought this would be cute with any number of other designs. I am planning to make a few to hang around my garden. I will post pictures when they are finished. I just need to make a trip to town to purchase crafting paint.

Here is a new idea for recycling soup cans.

Simply open each end of the can and then cut it open with a pair of tin cutters.

you will need to bend back the edges about 1/4" so the edges are not sharp.

Then just flip it over and paint on it.

Finish it off by punching two small holes in the top and hang it with a piece of wire.

Try other cans as well. Coffee or vegetable cans work great too.
