I'm taking next week off of work to stay home and sew! I'm going to be starting overtime October 1 and I will be working 10-12 hr days 6 days a week, so I need this week to get sewing on my Christmas Gifts. I'm making table runners, tote bags, wristlets, shoulder purses and hopefully a couple of quilts!

I'm in the process of knitting for sick and displaced (like foster care) kids. There is a group called Linus Project that takes blankets--either quilted, knitted, crocheted, and gives them to these kids so they have a 'blanket of their own' like a Woobie. Right now, I'm knitting a lavender baby blanket for a little one.

Plus my God daughter just had a little boy and I need to knit something for him before he gets much bigger.

I am working on some Halloween and Christmas hairbow orders. I make those big layered hairbows for kids and babies. If my 7 year old wears a pair to school in pigtails I usually get a few calls for orders lol. She is my best model. I have been working on a huge cross stitch for over a year now. I usually will put it down for a few months then pick it back up and work on it.

I am crafting my craft room LOL my middle daughter left for school and she will be gone 3 years I was so sad about this. But I was determind not to get moody and so I have choose to tak the extra bedroom and make it my craft room.I still have a bedroom for when the girls come home plus a extra outside apartment for them so christmas and what ever they have a place. But my craft room is something I have dreamed about for year I have never did due to kids and what ever. But now we are doing it my husband and me.Hey girls when you see your husband saving crazy thing sometimes just walk away and say nothing so far since my husband is such a pack rat the only thing it has cost us is 84.00 in pant sand paper and rollers. When it is done I will post pictures maybe I hope I am not to shy.Well anyway hope everyone's project is better than the last one Happy crafting

I am in a cross-stitch round robin club and have 3 round robins going and that is keeping me pretty busy.
Life may not be the party we hoped for, but while we are here we might as well dance.
