Lori I have a few questions about making these. Do you mind?

When you tie the strings of material do you alternate where you tie it? I mean like, do you stagger it around the pole? Ok that didn't make any sense did it? I can't figure out how you tied them. Did you tie several on top of each other or did you just make one tie and work your way up the pole?

Oh I guess I will just get some scraps and a dowl and see what kind of trouble I can get into. LOL

I tied them on one at a time and staggered the treads...yes that made perfect sense to me...... I mashed it down a bit to fit lots of them on ....I hope that makes sense to you....

Thanks Lori. It does make sense.

BTW. Is this the type of craft that you make to sell? They are just so cute I bet you could sell a lot of these.

Lori, they are beautifu! Do not sell yourself short! I have done crafts for years and I know how much work goes into each project you do. You may no be able to get your time and effort back in the price, but I would charge at least $10 each. Depending on your area and the different crafts offered at shows.

    Best of luck!
