I also agree with spending the day with your wife. If you plan a nice day trip with a romantic dinner...That would be what I would love. I don't really cook so a kitchen appliance would be the last thing I would want but you know your wife best. I say you do both!!! How happy would she be with a romantic day and a Kitchenaid mixer

I've been married for 33 years this year...I don't care about jewelry...or about..."things" (I have plenty of both tho)... Spend time with her Russ....do something that is wonderful but not expensive... here's how I view life....there is no dress rehearsal...we may only have today....if something happened to one of you the day after..would she care about a present? Or about the fact you made her feel loved by spending time with her doing something special???

Another thought.....I've always preferred that Gripey buy me a rose bush as opposed to having me roses sent from the florist. I am practical for the most part.....and this is a gift that keeps on giving AND he will clip them during the blooming seasons and bring them in and put them in a vase quite often.....I lurve that.

PS. Anytime is good for a kitchenaid, lol.
    This has my vote too.

I don't have experiences with any anniversaries over 7 years () but I do know that any woman would really appreciate a nice picnic lunch by the lake that has sandwiches and cheese/crackers, etc.

FYI - I BEGGED for a generator for my birthday and Christmas for over 2 years. Hubby didn't want to get one for my birthday. I finally convinced him it was what I WANTED!
Yep, me too. I'm not married, but for my past 4 birthdays that's what I've asked of my BF. They are always birthday weekend trips. We went to a Hyatt in Chicago one year; to Kalamazoo, MI one year; Muskegon, MI another year, and back to Chicago last year before we moved. He's always enjoyed it so much that we actually did the same thing for him last year

    Default Anniversary

I say how about signing up with a cleaning service. And then on an evening when the house is spotless clean take her out to a nice romantic dinner.
