As of tomorrow...
As of tomorrow, September 10, 2010, the husband and I will have been married 5 years. We haven't got to actually spend our anniversary together since our first one due to his military and police obligations. This year we are going to take a long weekend trip to Chicago, sans children.
What has been your most memorable anniversary celebration?McD

congrats .
we have never really done anything super memorable for our anniversary .
our first i was 2 weeks away from delivering our oldest and after that i kept on having babies till # 5 and i was too neurotic to leave them for too long like a weekend away and when i wasnt money was an issue
now that they are older its more a time issue needing to make arrangements for rides for them to activities etc .
i think about a short cruise or maybe a 4 day trip to a warm island but then i worry what if the plane crashes or someoen gets sick while i am gone- maybe we will do something for 25th which is in 1.5 years .*~Debbi~*

Happy Anniversary

Glad you're able to spend it together.
Most memorable for me? A birthday (not really an anniversary sorry) a while back where I had friends from the southern and midwest US as well as friends from eastern Canada drive into town for my birthday battling the winter elements while all my local friends freaked b/c they saw a snowflake and backed out.
That birthday showed me what I meant to certain people.

Happy Anniversary to you both. I hope that you have a wonderful time in Chicago.
Our most memorable one was 8 years ago when we celebrated our 30th anniversary. We went to Las Vegas. It was wonderful.Hello from Sunny Central Florida

That is so cool, our Anniversary is tomorrow as well. We have been married 16 years. I guess my favorite was when we spent the night at a bed and breakfast. The worst had to be when he was in Iraq. That was the year we were suppose to go back to the Bahamas where we went on our honeymoon. But, since he was deployed, I spent it alone.
Hope you have a happy anniversary tomorrow. Hopefully we will get to do something small because he has drill all weekend.

Happy Anniversary!!
Our 28th is coming up next month.
We've never really celebrated our anniversary...guess after our traumatic wedding things took on a different perspective!!
Important thing is that you are still together and continuing to create a strong partnership!! Have a wonderful anniversary!!Travel light. The baggage of the past can only hold you back.

You guys certainly deserve a weekend getaway. I hope you have a very romantic trip planned, and I hope too, that from now on, your anniversaries will always be spent together! Chicago has to be one of the greatest cities in the USA to visit (2nd to my NYC, of course lol). Don't waste a minute of it!
Congratulations!
Theresa
ps- we'll all look forward to some pictures.
