    Thumbs up Super Bowl Celebrations

Who are you cheering for? Do you watch for the game or the commercials or both? What's going to be on your table food & beverage wise?
Me, I'm hoping the Packers win. I love the commercials more than the game since the game often is a blow out with one team dominating the other.
It'll be just hubby and I and we usually have buffalo wings for dinner with celery & carrot sticks and blue cheese. Nice cold brews along side.
I bake my wings and then sauce using Franks hot sauce. Want to know a neat way to get the meat off the wing flat piece? This video by Chef John will hook you up.

Pro bowl next week!! Sad tear as the football season winds down.

No plans to party for the game - I'll make devilled eggs, veggies and dip, poke and sashimi - DH and I will nibble our way through the game.

Don't care who wins, just want a good game.
Hope the commercials are interesting - Budweiser ones are usually good.
Travel light. The baggage of the past can only hold you back.

This year, neither team has my heart. We are all big Colts fans and without my beloved Peyton, I am sad. I am sure DS and DH have a favorite, but I don't know which it is.

The game. I like the commercials, but don't watch it for them.

Certain sporting events "belong" to certain family members. The Super Bowl belongs to DS. That means he gets to pretty much pick the menu. His typical menu includes Pig in a Blanket, homemade pizza, super-duper nachos and deep fried wings. His beverage of choice is Diet Dr. Pepper. It's a lot of food for four people and we are all stuffed by half-time.

I too am mourning the fact that Peyton Manning will not be playing *sniff*
That said - I'd like to see the Packers win.
Commercials? Best part of the day!
Food? Leaving that one up to the kids

#*!#^$&%* *curse the Steelers. One team I'm not a fan of so guess who I am cheering for. I was so hoping it wasn't going to be another Steelers Super Bowl. Gah!

Anyhoo, haven't made plans yet. We usually get together with a friend either at their house or ours. Probably ours. Will have to think about the food. I'm sure Rotel will be in there.

We're rooting for the Packers for sure! I like them...plus I'm not a fan of the Steelers.

We're making wings, spareribs, and some sort of shrimp. I haven't planned the rest of the menu, but I'll make some sides to round it out.

We love to watch the commercials too. Oooo...I'm getting excited just thinking about it.

We are expecting about 15 people that night. For us, it's more of a get-together than a sporting event. Anyhow it's always a lot of fun.

I'll be making a huge lasagna and garlic bread. Cheap, and easy. I might even use disposable pans ans dishes to simplify everything.

    Very excited about Superbowl party!

I don't care who wins and I probably won't even watch much of the game. I usually go over a friends house but the past two years its just been the two of us and my son so it doesn't seem to be worth all of the work in food prep. And then I have to leave at half time to get my son in bed at a decent time.

This year my ex is "hosting" a party and invited me! HA! I think he invited me so I would cook. But its closer to home and I could just put my son to bed there, rather than leaving at half time so I think thats what I will do.

DH is a Browns fan and I'm a Redskins/Colts fan. We will be rooting against The Stealers(the politically correct spelling). I'm not sure if we will be at home or at a friend's house. If we are at home I will be fixing nachos with all the fixin's. Go GB!!
