Arggghh, more help needed with invites
Okay I decided to make some invitations up on the computer instead of buying them, I looked into buying already made ones but they are EXPENSIVE!
Then taking into consideration what tips others have given me, I do want to make it clear that what she does not need is a bunch of 2003 memorabilia, but I dont know how to write it up without sounding rude
HELP YOU GUYS!!! I NEED YOU

I think if emphasis is placed on "dorm shower" vs. graduation party...she'll receive less 2003 stuff.
Maybe on the invite be certain to write dorm shower or dorm warming party. If you'd like to help support Frugal Living by Sara Noel, my syndicated column, e-mail, write, or call the managing editor at your local newspaper and ask them to publish it in print or online. "Our little girl has completed another milestone, rather than looking back, we would like you to join us as in celebrating her next endeaver. On------we will forgo the traditional graduation party, instead, we will look ahead with a dorm warming party. We hope you will join us as we prepare her for her next big step.
I'm sure most people will ask when they call to rsvp what she could use. You might want to include an index card card in the invitation with a question on it for everyone to bring back to the party, maybe a study tip, laundry instructions, meals you can make in a microwave or on a hot plate, etc.
I think I'm getting very excited about this party!!
