Is anyone going to any Memorial Day Ceremonies?
The holiday is great for family get togethers and bbqs, but is anyone going to any Memorial Day Ceremonies?
Our family will and I know I'll be extra emotional thinking of those who have and are putting their lives on the line so we can be free. I am so thankful.

Thanks for asking Sara. One parade and ceremony was canceled but the second was not even though it continued to rain. It was very moving. Prayers were said for people who are and have served this country. A heartfelt wish for comfort to those who have lost family members in our most recent war was spoken. A laying of the wreath. a flag ceremony and our National Anthem was played. Someone also recited the Gettysburg Address.
I cried when taps were played.
