    Default Have you thought about...

    Halloween? :ghost:

Will you be making your kid's costumes this year? What will they be? Are you going to have a party?

If I can talk ds into being The Grinch, dd will be Cindy Lou Who!

Last year I made Alex a Hermione Granger costume from Harry Potter. I don't think I can top that one. I was very good.

Mine are too big now for Halloween costumes. But I remember the days when I would win trophies for their costumes and they were always made out of whatever I had around and last minute too!

    What a cute idea Karen

My kids look at costumes online daily. They can't make up their minds, of course.

I'm going to try to find some creative ones online and see if I can make them vs. buying them.

    Default Anyone thinking about Halloween?

I like to get costumes out of the way early. I keep asking Zachary what he'd like to be this year, but he keeps changing his mind. lol
He last said a robot. We have a nice area to trick or treat. We used to drive to one area because we knew the streets were quiet and there were a lot of children. Now since we moved, we're in a perfect area for trick or treating, so no more park and walk. Hurray!. I'm looking forward to the Fall activities we have in our city too. It's my favorite time to hit the Nature center too.

DD is too old for trick or treating but she wants a costume anyway. I'm not sure what she is aiming toward yet. I'll probably make it for her and let her wear it to a few Halloween parties and then it will go in the toy box for "imagination" days.
