No, we eloped, so there wasn't any music at our wedding.

We were announced at the reception, and came in to The Best of Times by Styx. Our song that we danced to was Love of a Lifetime by Firehouse, and we danced our final dance to She's always a Woman to Me by Billy Joel.

We got married by a justice of the peace and had a small reception at home afterwards but "our song" was Faithfully by Journey.

There's No Way (I could Make it Without You) by Alabama and You're the Inspiration by Chicago. Hey Debbie, what year were you married, I see we have the same song? We were married in 1987.

Nope, married by the mayor and a family reception. We do have a Conway Twitty song that's our song tho.

The theme from Sanford & Son....

No, I'm not kidding this time....

his "special surprise gift" to me....

    schmuck....

Forgot to tell you ~ we went to the center of the floor for our first dance - me in my beautiful black & white gown (come on - we already had two kids!) and he in his tailor made silk suit (which cost more than the wedding itself...different rant!) as he swept me into his arms the theme from Sanford & Son came on....

Couldn't tell you what else played that day - although I know we had a Celtic Group there that sang & played simon-pure Celtic tunes all afternoon.....

    Schmuck.....
