Misty!!!!! So good to have you back!!!!!
As for the party...I've seen cakes at one of our stores with SpongeBob on them. It would be really cute if you could get some of those oversized sponges and make SpongeBob decorations with them. You could use bits of material, googly eyes and those cheneille sticks for his legs and arms. Use a permanant marker to draw in his nose and mouth.
For food you could have sea related items like those goldfish or dolphin crackers, gummy fish in blue jello, crab or shrimp spread or dip, fish sandwiches, etc.

Great ideas Deb

Patrick's Starfish Cake
Simply purchase your child's favorite flavor of cake mix. Follow package instructions to prepare and bake in two round cake pans.
When cool, leave one layer whole and cut the second layer into five equal sections (like cutting a pie). These pieces will become Patrick's starfish legs. Place the first layer in the center of a large piece of cardboard covered with foil. Trim the curved edges of the starfish legs, so that they fit snugly against the round edge of the body piece. Arrange the legs neatly around the body of the starfish and attach with icing.
Frost with red or pink icing. Draw on Patrick's eyes, nose, etc. Decorate with colored sprinkles while the icing is still moist to give Patrick a spiny texture.
For fun, spread blue frosting on the tray to make it look like Patrick is in the water.
Make a simple fruit tray special by serving the fruit with SpongeBob’s pineapple house! Not only is it a healthy snack, but it also makes a great centerpiece for your party table.
SpongeBob’s Fruit Platter
First, slice the bottom from of a whole pineapple, (about 1/4”) making a smooth horizontal cut so it is stable standing up by itself. Then, cut your child’s favorite fruits into bite-size chunks, making some thin and some thick. Use the pieces of fruit to make a door, windows, chimney, etc. Use toothpicks to attach them to the house. Place the pineapple in the center of the platter and arrange all the fruit pieces around the outside.
If you're feeling more ambitious, use the pieces of fruit and additional toothpicks to make some the lovable characters in Bikini Bottom, SpongeBob's underwater city. Try creating his simple starfish buddy Patrick, his sour next-door-neighbor Squidward (an octopus), or his thrill-seeking surfer-girl squirrel pal, Sandy Cheeks.

Make a cd of ocean themed music--think "under the Sea" "octapuses garden" etc.
Fish bowl centerpieces with a little feeder goldfish--maybe play a game for the winner to take it home.
Swedish fish, gummy fish, goldfish crackers
serve "crabby patty's" hamburgers.
