Good Morning
Good Morning Ladies,
Wanted to wish you all a very Happy Easter.
Now, a question!
I bought a 7.3 lb. bone-in Butt Ham, as you may know I am not a very good Crock-pot cooker!!!!
I put some brown sugar on the foil & put the ham on top of it, then poured a small amount of Pineapple juice over it....wrapped ham in foil & put it in the crock-pot.
Is this going to work???? I hope so.
I wanted to free up the oven for scallopped potatoes & baked beans.
Any comments would be appreciated.
Oh, this is an UN-cooked Ham.
Thanks so much. Have a great day.

I haven't a clue Mom, but it sounds like it should work fine.

You probably didn't need the foil, but I bet it turns out yummy! Plus the crockpot will be easier to clean!

I never use foil in my crockpot, but I'm sure is won't hurt it any. Sounds like its going to be a wonderful meal.

Thanks everyone for your help.
Somewhere I read about wrapping it in foil...haven't a clue where!
Well, guess I won't know unless I try.
If I am not too tired, I will let you all know how it tasted tonight.

Ladies, it turned out great! It did not need 8 hours on high, Jack and I arrived at Mom's around 2:30 for a 4pm dinner and the ham was falling apart already.
I was delicious as was the whole meal. Thanks Mom!

You've got the good daughter seal of approval on your dinner, can't do better than that! WTG Liz!
One of these days I'd like to head you & Dee' s way & spend a night or two.
