    Talking Memorial Day weekend

I can't tell you how excited I am about having a 3 day weekend!! Or actually it's a 4 day weekend....I only work a few hours on Friday mornings and it is an easy day so it's not too bad. This is also the first time I can remember in such a long time that Malcom is here with me for a long weekend and he doesn't have to work!!

Tonight we are going to a seafood restaurant we haven't tried yet. I have a BIGI free coupon so we are going to check it out. It's right on the water so it should be nice....we love to go to the restaurants that are on the water here....there are so many.

Lonestar is giving a free concert tonight at the base so maybe I can also talk him into going to that!!

The rest of the weekend we will spend at the beach - eating, drinking and getting tans!!!

We also might go to Williamsburg for the day and do the "tourist" thing.

what are your plans???? Hope everyone has a great one!

Yahoo Daphne! Sounds like agreat weekend! DH came home today, so it's going to be a terrific weekend around here. Mitch Ryder and the Detroit Wheels are going to be at the "Moon Dance" ranch this weekend and guess what? We're going! Believe it or not, my older sister dated this guy when she was in High School in Detroit. My dad scared him off!

I really don't have too many plans. My ds1 is going to a football game tonight. The area allstar game is at his school. Tomorrow, friends are coming up from Baltimore, and he is going to put the swingset my ds3 got for his birthday. He is also going to check a few things around the house for me. Then on Monday afternoon, the news is suppose to come to our house and interview us. Since dh is deployed, he has kept in touch with one of the reporters, and sent her an email that she really liked, and wants me to read it on the evening news. So, that should be fun. Have a great weekend everyone!

Sounds like lots of fun girls!

We'll be hanging around, lounging around the pool today. We're going to cook out on the grill and make a lazy day of it.....or so I hope.

I am jealous! I would love to go!

We have no plans. We had planned on camping, but the weather doesn't want to cooperate. It rains off and on.

DH just plans on BBQ'ing. I just plan on relaxing.

We're not doing anything exciting this weekend. Hubby has to work on Monday and the weather is cold gray and raining here. Chris and Jeff need to work on building one more trellis sometime this weekend and we have church tomorrow. I'm not feeling deprived though since I get to head over to Montana next Wednesday afternoon with the kids to spend a week with my parents at the lake!

Tonight Alex has her recital. Tomorrow Alex and I are going to The Lake of the Ozarks to see relatives. My new summer job starts at 6 a.m. Tuesday morning.

Daphne, I saw Lonestar in concert when I worked at the Casino...They are great. Mu mom doesn't like country music but she and my mother & father in law went with me. I hope you got to go and I hope you had fun.

As for our plans, DH is suppose to be off Sun & Mon but one of the managers quit so he may have to work on one of them. We are probably going to sit around and I plan on getting some sun. We will probably go to the state park up here and hike to the lake and sit out there for a little while. As long as we are together I don't care what we do.

Hope everyone has a great weekend.
