A card. He requested no gifts unless the kids wanted to make something for him.

John is getting the summer off from mowing the lawn-I got the guys who do my neigbors to do mine on the same day so since they already have the equipment off the truck and here they are doing both of my lots for $20 a week-1/2 of what the going rate around here is. They started last month. He'll also have homemade gifts the kids did in school and new boxers and pajamas.

Nothing. That's what he really wants so we're giving him nothing.

A better batter thing for breading food when frying. I don't know why he wanted it cuz we never fry but he did so I got it for him. I am also going to cut his hair. He normally has to ask me for about 3 weeks to do it so after only asking once that will be a treat!

We got my parent's an air conditioner for Mother's Day and told my dad it was also his Father's day gift. I bought him a carton of cigarettes too.

We got FIL some Rockford socks (getting to be almost impossible to find) and are helping pay to have the air conditioning fixed in their car.

The kids went together and got dh a gas grill and some new socks.

I told my dh to go to Lowe's and get the tool he really wants, because I don't know a thing about them. My two youngest dsons gave him a DVD, 'Lord of the Rings". The two older dsons will be here for dinner tonite and will give him their gifts then.

I gave him a card a nice cup for his morning coffee and I took him to our small restaurant for breakfast---just me and him and Patrick. The other boys were still sleeping. And I made his favorite food for lunch---pepper steak, potatoes, cesear salad.

    He was very happy.

I got DH a pair of shorts, polo shirt, and some baseball cards, and I made him a T-bone steak (w/ all his favorite sides) for lunch before he went to work.

My dad's getting a nice polo shirt.

(DH's dad passed away a few years ago.)

Jeff got rather spoiled this year. We got him bindings for his snowboard, 3 Northern Exposure video tapes, I took him out to dinner last night, Jaysn wrote him a letter as to why he is such a great dad and we took him on a picnic and to a concert in the park today. I also let him sleep in this morning and then gave him a haircut before we headed out for the day. He is a very happy camper at the moment!
