Dh and I are going to take the day off.....swimming and napping, napping and swimming with something to eat at some point...... .

At some point we are supossed to help our neighbor put up hay. We are also having a friend over to eat and set off fireworks. on the menu today;
bbq spare ribs
party potatoes
grilled zucchini
corn on the cob
deviled eggs
I started some relish yesterday so I'd like to finish making that if I find the energy.

Well it's not really so much for the 4th that we are doing this, but I can pretend..*L*
My in-laws have a bbq planned for this afternoon so that all of dh's family can come and see him and the kids.
They have a spit and will be roasting a pig, as well as a few other dishes.
I have a feeling that I will be eating salad all day.
I did promise dh that I will try the pig and so I shall.. and maybe I'll be suprised or something..

Dh has to work so it will be just me and the animals. I'll take Speedy on a walk of course. Other than that all I've done so far is watch a little of the Wimbledon Mens Final.
Some of my neighbors set off fireworks LAST NIGHT UNTIL 3AM!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I hope they don't do it that late tonight.
