jars/bottles

Where does everyone buy their jars and/or bottles for making holiday crafts?  I would like to make some jar gifts, but I'm not sure where to get the best deal on jars.  I'm wondering about bottles too.  Thanks for any help in advance.

sometimes you can find mason jars at yard sales and thrift stores. i have never been that lucky and usually end up buyng mine at walmart. the grocery store carries them as well, but here walmart has the better price.

I save everything for this purpose (jelly jars, etc.). Dh's fave lemonade comes in quart size glass bottles that have a very fancy cut to them and I've been saving them as well.
