I'm stuck~ need gift ideas for two male cousins!
On my mom's side of the family we draw names and exchange gifts in the $15 range. This year we drew two of my male cousins, and I'm really drawing blanks right now as to what to get them. I'm so far behind on my shopping this year-- usually I'm nearly done, and right now I'm not even half-way done. I'm trying to do a lot of it online to save some time. Any gift suggestions would really be appreciated!
The first one, S, is a male, age38. He does very well financially and can buy anything he wants. He is in the "big and tall" size clothing-wise, and a discount store shirt wouldn't be worn anyways. He's married with three kids. Often he's received socks or gloves, so I want to avoid those. If I can't think of anything else he'll probably get a restaurant gift certificate, but I'd like to be more creative.
The second one, J, is also male, 24. He's single and lives on his own. I've had his name the last several years, and have done shirts, a "date night" basket (popcorn, movie certificate, candy), and stuff for his car. I'm not sure what else to get him-- he's not really into any sports or teams that I know of.

Magazine subscriptions are generally well recieved if you know of one for their interests.
Homebaked sweets are generally a good thing too.

A book if you know their tastes in reading. I've come across some good reasonably priced books in K-Mart here in Oz.

Ask the 38 yr. old's wife maybe she will know. As far as J, if he lives on his own food stuff sounds good. Cheese, smoked sausages, crackers, pepperoni, bag of goldfish, nuts?

How's about something for the24 yr. old's apartment/house? Lots of men don't do much in the way of decorating but like nice things for the home too. If either of them is a wine drinker a wine rack might be nice. (I got a great one at Tues. Morning for about $10)
As for the married cousin, would you consider a gift cert. to somewhere like Barnes and Nobles or a very upscale restaraunt? We do those for the really, really hard to buy for family members.

How about a cool gadget from Brookstone (similar to Sharper image but on a less spendee scale) Guys love those stores and there is every possible price range and kind of thing there.

Speaking of wine ... how about a nice cork screw.
Maybe one of those nice lever types.
I know that some of them are expensive, but I have also seen them for about $15 - $20.
And ya know you can never find one when you need one.
