    Default what were your results?

what homemade gifts were well received and what gifts were not?

i haven't seen my sis and bil yet so i'm not sure how they liked their gift basket of mixes and such. my mom like the journal jar i had given her, my dad's reaction was his typical skepticism, though i expected that. he tends to be a private person, but that's ok.
my fil liked his journal jar and i'm sure he'll enjoy doing it. he likes to talk, but most of the time noone wants to listen so he can write to his hearts content about whatever question is on teh slip.

so how were things for y'all?

The only homemade gifts I gave this year were 3 fleece blankets. Two of them were the no-sew fleece blankets and the other I had to stitch together. I gave them to my 3 sons and they love them. They said they are so warm.

I made each one their favorite college team... LSU Tigers, Texas Longhorns and Oklahoma Sooners.

Journal jar to SIL flop, (half smile with a confused look, I told her what it was and got, "oh....nice)

In the past blankets go over well and a bath basket did too.

I made my mom a Pepsi wreath and she loved it. She collects pepsi. My sister in law has her kitchen done in coca cola and I embellished towels with fabric and embroidered Kaylas Kitchen in the coca cola font with my embroidery machine. She teared up. I made a corduroy purse for my niece liked it. I did personalized princess towels for 2 other nieces and they were so so about it ( ages 5 and 6) and my kids loved their pajamas. I make them pj's every year and let them have them on Christmas Eve.
