New Year's Plans?
Anyone have plans for New Years Eve or New Years Day?
My aunt and uncle are trying to get us to go out with them,I'm not sure I want to go though.Dinner and a movie would be fine but they wanna have dinner and sit at the bar...or go to a bar.I've never been to a bar in my life.....
And certainly don't want to drink and drive
Maybe I can come up with an excuse to stay home... lol

We're going out to eat at a Japanese steak house about 3:00 pm on New Years Eve. It is early, but that's OK. We'll be putting in a new kitchen floor over the next couple days, so that will take up much of the time. We're not really party animals over here!

She did call to say a local Comedy Club will have 5 comedians from 9 pm till midnight and it's *gulp* $70 PER PERSON....I cant see paying that much to listen to some guys talk for 3 hours.....
I have small kids at home.Ashley will babysit but we've never left her home with the kids for that long. my aunt,Donna has 2 teenage boys (16 and 13)
I think I'll tell her we can do dinner and a movie but I don't want to stay out till midnight.....

Usually Mike and I stay home and have a nice quiet dinner, just the 2 of us. This year, I will be going to my cousins wedding on New Years Eve, Mike will be staying home since he is on call for work

New Years Day, I plan on staying home and relaxing, getting ready for the work week!
I hope everyone has a safe and Happy New Year!!!

Well, we don't generally do anything--- but all 3 kids have other plans this year. Dh and I had planned a quiet evening at home alone-- nice dinner, movie. . . . . . but it's the day before and we still haven't purchased any food or anything-- so I guess we're not doing anything. Will probably be in bed by 10:00 after I get home from work- as usual.

I usually throw a party for the kids with favors and a balloon drop and Martinelli's at midnite - but this year Bob said he is taking them to Downtown Denver for the Fireworks - that should be pretty neat (but really crowded
)
Bruce and I will just watch the ball drop! And mom will be snoring, and saying 'I'm not a sleep - I am just resting my eyes!"

We don't have any plans either. I usually buy party favors for the boys. They can stay up and have their own little party. I know DH will be tired and want to go to bed early because he has to work all day.
I may just snuggle up beside him.

We're going to some friends' home for pizza and games, kids included (no babysitter expense!). Papa Murphy's (take & bake) had a coupon for BOGO so we got a Chicago style stuffed pizza and a family size pepperoni for 11.99. Pretty frugal, safe and fun!

We normally stay home and I'm asleep by 10. This year, however we have been invited to a progressive dinner. I've never done one and it is with some good friends so it should be fun. The only bad thing is it is in a town aabout 20 min. away. I hate to drive on New Year's Eve.
