Help me WOW my hubby on a budget!
Jeff and my 20th wedding anniversary is coming up in March. This is a biggie and I want to just knock his socks off! So far this is what I have planned:
We are going to Montana to stay at my parent's beautiful home on the lake there. The kids are staying here with a friend. I'm collecting some of hubby and my favorite treats and taking them with us. We do have a favorite restaurant that we go to there and love to stroll through the galleries. We are doing this all on a budget, so we are just going out twice, once for lunch and once for breakfast. All other meals will be at my parent's place. BTW, Mom and Dad are back in Hawaii so we have the place all to ourselves!
It's very romantic there and we have a fireplace in the living room and the master bedroom. We also have a big soaker tub and a huge walk in shower. I'm really excited about going and so is DH. I just want to make this weekend a special one that we will cherish and remember always.
Any other suggestions for us?

Do you have some nice romantic music ready so that maybe you guys could dance by the fire - do you have some silly love treats so you feel young and dangerous. I love play therapy and I think there is nothing better than that for a relationship. You can go onto some of the intimacy weekend getaway sites and get quizzes and thought provoking passages to talk about and feel like silly teens or new dates again. Or get silly naughty things that embarass you both and make you laugh - its quite a releasing/endearing experience.

How about a sweet little love poem that you've written for him? Put it on the pillow with a chocolate kiss.

Once, I made little notes with sweet sayings on them and placed them strategically through the house, with a kiss on each one for Matthew! The note would hint where to go next. The final place he ended up was the living room, I was on the floor, candles lit, music softly playing, wearing a sexy nightie waiting for him with the real kisses..........
This was for our 5th anniversary.......

Cj I'm afraid I won't be explaining...just use your adult imagination.....but be sure to warm that syrup and you might wanna drop cloth for chocolate drippings (don't wanna mess up a clean floor or bed....now do we?
