I'm leavin on a jet plane...
My flight leaves at 7:35 in the morning. My first-born will be a married woman by Tuesday night. It brings me such joy to see her so excited and finally happy. This child of mine has grown so much, she has come into her own. I am so proud of her. I am so proud of the relationship that we have developed over the past few years and feel honored to finally be "friends". We will be foregoing tradition and I will give her away. Just the thought of it makes me cry.
Before that however, I have so much to do not only here, but as soon as I get there. I am making her veil, pew bows, reception table centerpeices, and still have some of the favors to finish. We re doing water bottles. I have the labels to take with me, so we have 200 labels to put on bottles. Also gluing all the jewels on the gloves and veil. I haven't even packed yet! I will not sleep much, but I guess that is par for the course for the Mother-of-the-Bride!
I have to work today, I hope the day goes smoothly and quickly.
I went and got my nails and toes done yesterday thanks to the kindness of a friend. I dyed my hair last night, it is a little red, but at least it is not grey! It matches my dress too
Say a prayer for a smooth flight, I am afraid to fly.

Robin, I am so happy for your daughter. It sounds like she is going to have a beautiful wedding with her mom's help of course.
I am glad you went and did something for yourself before the wedding.
Have a safe and wonderful trip. Don't forget the camera!!~*Michelle*~
