Prom dinner menus
or at least what they are requesting at this point.
Dd and her boyfriend
appetizers (my choice)
tossed salad
roast sticky chicken
augratin potatoes
triple chocolate ice cream cake
iced tea
sparkilng grape juice
Ds and his date
appetizers (my choice)
tossed salad
grilled rib eye steaks
shrimp scampi
baked potatoes
corn on the cob
strawberry shortcake
soda
I'm going to to print out the menus on card stock for them to save in
their scrapbooks.

i think those sound yummy.
me and dh went to mc d's and taco bell for our prom dinner. the guy at mc d's thoughti was pretty cool because i wasn't demanding some fancy dinner. lol
do they really want to eat corn ON the cob for dinner before prom? maybe i'm just a really messy eater, but i end up with butter all over my face eating corn on the cob
will that mess up her makeup?
sounds like good eats though!wife to carl
mom to greg

corn on the cob is my son's request-- he'll probably make a mess, but oh well. We own the tux, so my mess to deal with later.

You are a great mom to do this for them! Are you gonna make the table all fancy and stuff too? Candles and flowers? What a wonderful memory you will be making for them!
Are you gonna act like a waitress and serve them?

Sounds wonderful! I love the idea too of laminating the menus and saving them

Yep-- fancy table settings, candles for one- hurricaine lamp for the other one. I bought a set of fancy cloth napkins at a yard sale yesterday. They don't look like they have ever been touched!
I'll post pictures afterward. One dinner is April 23rd, and one is May 7th.
