Whats the most romantic thing
you've ever done for your spouse or SO for their birthday?
Steve's birthday is Monday(the big 34) and I want to plan something REALLY special.
My plan is.............Cooking his favorite meal ribeye, baked potato, grilled bread, and a green salad. I wanted to make a strawberry dessert....I'll get a sara lee pound cake, slice it up to fit in a pretty bowl and add strawberries,HM whipped cream and a strawberry glaze of some sort.
I'm putting a white lace tablecloth on the table and 2 glass candlesticks with white candles.....I'm also going to set some votives or tealights around the room for more light.I dont want any overhead light or lamps on.....
I have one,or should I say FOUR problems.....Ashley,Katie,Jackson and Jayme......

I don't generally do anything "romantic" for dh's birthday (his is Monday too!- and he'll be 44)
Lots of time we pack a picnic lunch and eat out, just the two of us (our kids are big enough to leave alone)

Romance is something that has gone south in our marriage, but we are working on it.

I'm not very good at planning big celebrations, but I will generally make a dinner of choice and give a present. My hubby turns 50 this year; I really should try to put forth an extra effort! Not that I don't want to put forth the effort, I'm just not that creative in these things.

For His 40th I booked us a weekend in a Country House Hotel in the beautiful Yorkshire Dales, the room was lovely and had it's own little Conservatory that lead into the large grounds.........very Romantic
We had wonderful food ( pretty hard to come by when you are Vegan in the UK,trust me on that!!!)
I bought him a wonderful watch.
We went on lovely walks down into the Dales village and had Tea in one of the cute Tea Rooms..............
Happy Memories
