Going home (where I grew up, about 2 hours from here.) I have a hair appt scheduled (same stylist for the last 15 years) for Friday morning, then I will be going to my parents' lake place for the weekend. My brother and sister and their families will be there.
We will be having a birthday party for my niece and two nephews, and celebrating my 8th anniversary.

The pool in our neighborhood opens this weekend. So, I suppose that is where we will be hanging out. I am going to try and get a sitter so DH and I can go on a date Friday night. Sat. morning I am determined to go yard saling - I haven't been this year. We will probably cook out and maybe have a couple of neighbors over. Maybe I will break out the ice cream maker.

No plans here unless a grandparnet or 2 or 3 or 4......show up. Joe will be working and I will (weather permitting) work on the tan that I started Sunday, before clouds and a cold front decided to move in.

We're going to my grandparents' house. My aunts, uncles, cousins, cousin's children, my parents, siblings (including 1 boyfriend), & my own family will be there. We do this every year and it's really fun. I just wish my sister and brother-in-law could be there too. We cook out, play games in the yard and TALK.

It's usually our big weekend to do gardening and yard work, but nothing but rain in the forecast.
I don't think we'll be doing anything terribly fun. Such a bummer.

Supposed to be having a family bbq, but everyone is inviting everyone, so it's not just family. There will be a lot of people there, so I don't know if I'll go. Maybe drop some food off and dish up a plate to bring home. We'll see.

We usually put our garden in this weekend but that's a no go because of rain ALL week and probably all weekend.
Probably have our in-laws over for lunch, go to the parade & then to the cemetary for a service on Monday.

Camping in the rain I'm sure. We're heading up to dh's Uncles cabin. There should be quite a few people and everyone is staying in campers. At least the pop-up doesn't leak!

Daphne, sounds like you are the only one woh is going to have good weather- enjoy it! I heard on the radio that temps here have been an average of 4 degrees lower than normal, which doesn't sound like a lot, but believe me, it is. It is SOOO chilly here!
Not looking forward to a rainy weekend at the lake- there isn't a whole lot of indoor room. May cut the trip short and only stay over Friday night.
